Studio Twelve-Nineteen first opened in spring of 2009 and has since created interesting road side art installation that create interactions between the public, interesting opportunities to examine experimental art and ephemeral installations.
Creating interesting conversation and viewing opportunities for the busy traffic on Hillside Ave is the main objective here. Lead by artist in residence, Shylene Schlackl, this space continues to provide attention-grabbing shows and events while continuing her visions of ‘using what you have’ to make art and experiences.
As the HQ for The CUPS, the NFP, the space continues to build Community Unity here through the studio shows.
